If you’ve been to the Mega Show before, the format will remain the same. Entry fees give a modeler one half of a display table (approximately 36″ square) to create a model exhibit of their work–you may place as many models as will fit in the space. One model per exhibit may be entered for evaluation, but the name of the game is to come out, show off your stuff, and talk scale modeling with fellow modelers. We are once again going to look into allowing additional models for entrants who volunteer to assist with the judging. As we all know, contests with judging require manpower–the more people we can get trained and working as judges, the more models we can judge in the time allotted.

Seven Oaks Park in Irmo is convenient (access from I-26 from both Piney Grove Road/Exit 104 and St. Andrews Road/Exit 106), and features a double-court gymnasium that is spacious and well-lit, and will be a great new home to the SC Scale Model Mega Show.
